The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, in particular Kimberly at the hotel desk, Juan Luis who drove us between the sister resorts, and Seb, our poolside waiter at Blue Bar & Lounge. We enjoyed Grilled Calamari, Grilled Lobster, Grilled Red Snapper, and Asian Wings, as well as endless Pina Coladas. There are cabanas to rent, and they provide you with a butler, sparking and still water, a bottle of Prosecco, glasses, a fruit platter, snorkel gear, rafts, and towels. There are beautiful iguanas, flamingos, pelicans, and tons of different tropical fish species to enjoy while on the beach here. With two distinct options (the adults-only Renaissance Marina Hotel and family-friendly Renaissance Ocean Suites), you and your honey can enjoy a cannonball. Satellite TV and a coffee maker are found in each bright room of the Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino. A full-service spa, casino and choice of fine restaurants are available.
The resort has their own private island where guests can access either Iguana Beach, which is for families, or Flamingo Beach, which is couples only. Featuring a 40-acre private island and beaches, this Oranjestad resort offers both adults-only and family lodging. Restaurants are excellent, in particular LG Smith Steakhouse and Fresco.
