This is a hotel, no way a resort, I understand Covid has wreck havoc on the service industry, but this was an unpleasant stay. We stayed for three nights but was able to do what we wanted to do in two days. Temperature check at the entrance and masks are worn in public areas. Towels are offered so no need to bring your towels from your room. The pool was pleasantly warm and the hot tub was perfect. We can make our own beds and use the towels more than once. There was no maid service while we were there. The food at the restaurant was delicious (limited) and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful even though they were understaffed due to the weather conditions. Was able to walk out to the beach and saw two Bald Eagles fly over.
The boardwalk to the beach is on the left side of the building. The fireplace was great but pretty close to the bed and way hot to the touch. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as we hoped. And of course we came during a snow storm. If you’re a gambler, this is a great get away.
